Where the price comes from
The point
Our price is read straight from each token's DEX pools on Solana every 2 seconds, never copied from a chart site's last trade.
Read from the pools. Every 2 s we read each market's pool accounts on-chain and compute the price the way that pool's own program does. A market blends up to 3 pools, each weighted by the dollars it takes to move it 2%, so deeper pools count more. A pool more than 5% off the blend is dropped (oracle status and spec, 2026-10-19).
One live price, three averages:
- Live price: this read, shown on screen.
- 8-second average: with the live price, triggers liquidations.
- 60-second average: every close, take-profit, stop-loss and liquidation settles at the worse, for you, of this and the live price, so a lagging average never pays out a move that already reversed.
- 5-minute average: the safety switch's reference.
Market opens fill two prices later (about 4 s) at the worse of the press and fill prices, so nobody trades on a move we have not published (Practice and Trade settings, 2026-10-19).
The breaker guards the feed; it is not a volatility halt. It trips when the live price stays over 20% from its 5-minute average for 3 reads, a pool's reserve jumps over 25% between reads, pools disagree by over 5%, or on a crash. While tripped: no opens, closes work, liquidations wait (oracle spec, 2026-10-19).
Stale data (oracle status, 2026-10-19). Last good read over 15 slots old (a few seconds): no opens or liquidations. Over 60 slots: close-only. Over 5 minutes: frozen. Holes over 30 slots are logged as gaps.
Jupiter and DexScreener are recorded beside our price as sanity checks. They never set it.
Numbers carry the source and date they were read; current values are on Parameters, every rule in full in the FAQ.
